Summer ‘23 Leaders Recognized

Year two of a new tradition: personalized t-shirts for our athletes who led a metric this past summer. A couple of quick notes on these shirts:

• Same as last year, these shirts were put together by the amazing Mrs. West and her students. These shirts aren’t cookie-cutter, so they took a lot of time & effort to put together. Thank you to them!

• Last year’s shirts were amazing, but we decided we wanted to go with something a little louder this year (I’m a track coach… I Iove loud stuff). Coach Wheeler suggested pink, and that was the last suggestion I needed to hear.

• We identified leaders from 5 different groups: Boys, Girls, F/S Boys, F/S Girls, and “Big Cats” (our linemen).

• Core Metrics this summer were: MPH, Vertical Leap, Broad Jump, & 40-yard dash (this was a FB-only metric this summer due to time constraints).
