State Week Itinerary
Monday - Practice @ Normal Time
Tuesday - Practice @ 2:15
Wednesday - Practice @ 4pm at EIU (leave at 3). Dinner after.
Thursday - Morning Practice @ 9am. Banquet @ 6pm. Leave for EIU immediately after. Lodging @ EIU Dorms (Bring your own bed linens & towels)
Semifinals (Friday)
*Top 12 in Field Events Advance to Finals on Saturday. Heat winners advance in running events, plus the next best times to fill all 9 lanes.
8:00am / Gavyn Cothern - Long Jump (Flights 1 & 2) - Warmup @ 7:45
*8:00am / Gavyn Cothern - High Jump (Flight 1, followed by Flight 2, Followed by Flight 3) - Warmup at 7:45 (Warmups for Flights 2 and 3 prior to their flight)
*Triple Jump / Ian Winkler - The first flight of the triple jump will immediately follow the long jump on the first available runway (following a 15 minute warm-up). The subsequent flights of the triple jump will follow on the first available runway following a 15 minute warm-up.
9:00am / Casey Thomann - Shot (Flight 1 in West Ring, Flight 2 in East Ring) Flights 1 & 2 warm-up 8:40 a.m. Weigh-in and inspection will take place for all flights between 8:00 a.m. and 8:40 a.m.
10:39am / 4 x 100-Meter Relay (Germak, Cothern, Winkler, Pianfetti) Semifinals: 4 heat winners plus next 5 best prelim times qualify for Finals
10:55am / Casey Thomann - Discus (Flight 1 in South Ring, Flight 2 in North Ring) Flights 1 & 2 warm-up 10:35 a.m. Weigh-in and inspection will take place for all flights between 9:50 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
Finals (Saturday)
10:00 a.m. Long Jump 1A and 2A. 3A to follow on first available runway following 15 minute warm-up.
Triple Jump Immediately following the Long Jump , on the first available runway, a 15 minute warm-up period will begin for the 1A flight of the Triple Jump. The 1A flight of the Triple Jump will start their competition immediately following their 15 minute warm-up period. Subsequent classes of the Triple Jump will warm-up for 15 minutes and then compete on the runway where they have warmed-up as a runway becomes available.
10:00 a.m. Shot Put 1A (West Ring ) (Warm-up 9:45 a.m.) 2A (East Ring) (Warm-up 9:45 a.m.) 3A to follow on first available ring (following a 15 minute warm-up)
10:00 a.m. High Jump 1A followed by 2A, followed 3A (each class will have a 15 minute warm-up)
11:40 a.m. Class 1A 4 x 100-Meter Relay Class 2A 4 x 100-Meter Relay Class 3A 4 X 100-Meter Relay
12:30 p.m. Discus 1A (South Ring ) (Warm-up 12:10 p.m.) 2A (North Ring) (Warm-up 12:10 p.m.) 3A to follow on first available ring (following a 20 minute warm-up)
