Mt. Zion Mini Meet Highlights
Senior Ayden Cothern came screaming out of the gates, busting the school record in the 60m with a time of 7.16. Nice way to start off the season for AC.
*The record was previously held by former Tiger Great Gus Lathrop (2015).
Along with Ayden's record-breaking 60m win, he and Saul Jones both put in 2nd place finishes (Ayden in the 200m and Saul in the 60m Hurdles). All 3 performances are currently good for Top 5 status in Class 2A.
All 3 of our throwers set personal bests in the shot, including a 6th-place finish from Sr. Maddox Dorn.
Soph. Kadyn Cooley cut 20 seconds off his outdoor 1600m time (impressive considering the indoor 1600 is tougher on a smaller track).
