After finishing up his college education and football career at Kentucky Wesleyan College in 2004, Ryan Denton immediately went into teaching and coaching at his alma mater in Olney, IL, and has proudly remained an employee of the Richland County School District for his entire career (He also later earned his masters in Educational Leadership at Eastern Illinois University).

During that span, Denton has coached 3 sports, most predominantly track and football, and created the Get Quick program in 2015, intended to build better HS athletes, no matter what sport they play. Annually the Get Quick program serves over 100 athletes during its summer session and then assists numerous sports with their offseason training throughout the school year.

Denton has served as head boys track coach since 2010. In that time, Tiger Track has won 4 conference championships (2018, 2019, 2022, & 2023), with 2018 being their first in over 30 seasons. Denton has also helped guide 30+ athletes to the IHSA State Championship Meet from one of the smallest schools in Class 2A (5 of those athletes have finished with all-state honors).

Get Quick Athletics, LLC was founded in the summer of 2022 with the intention of helping individual athletes, regardless of their skill level or sport, to become the best possible version of themselves by utilizing cutting-edge technology and innovative training techniques. Simply put, Get Quick aims to provide opportunities that athletes cannot get anywhere else in Southern Illinois.
